Ben Frost is one of my favourite modern pop artist. i would like to use his controversial work as inspiration for an IDN mag cover or promotional poster. Frost generally has a theme or hidden message behind all of his works and my chosen message will be based upon the influence that the media has on young children. i will be collecting images from children’s magazines, cartoons and icon images and layering them with images of plastic surgery, models, and other social issues that have an influence on a child’s life. it will be called something on the lines of … “when i grow up”, but that is yet to be confirmed.
